What a karmic reading is
A karmic reading looks at your natal chart through recurring patterns and growth tasks. At its center are the lunar nodes: the North Node shows the direction where you grow, and the South Node shows familiar territory that is easy to slip back into. Saturn, Lilith, Selena, Chiron, and the 12th house are added to that. The word “karma” here is a metaphor, and the report’s text says so: it is a language for habits, not a verdict handed down from past lives. The instructions behind the text explicitly forbid presenting past lives as fact, making prophecies, or giving medical, financial, or legal forecasts. So what you’ll find in the reading are observations and practices, not promises.
What’s inside the report
The report has eight sections. Above each one is a short line with the position of the point (for example, “North Node in Libra, 7th house”). The program calculates that line rather than the text writing it, so the sign or house in a headline can’t be made up.

What the reading is built on
The text of the report relies only on calculated data. So you know exactly what stands behind it:
- Nodes: the mean North Node and the opposite South Node, with sign, degree, and house. The mean node is a smoothed position that moves evenly through the zodiac and doesn’t “jump.”
- Lilith and Selena: the mean Black Moon and the point opposite it.
- Saturn and Chiron: sign, house, and retrograde status.
- Aspects of Saturn, Chiron, the nodes, and Lilith to planets and to the Ascendant and MC: an orb of 6° (8° to the Sun and Moon) for Saturn and Chiron, and one degree less for the nodes and Lilith. Aspects outside this list may not be mentioned.
- The 12th house: the sign on the cusp, which planets are inside, who the ruler is and where it stands. For Scorpio, Aquarius, and Pisces, the traditional co-ruler is taken into account too.
- Returns: up to three Saturn returns (with exact dates of the passes, which come as one or three because of retrograde motion) and up to four node returns, each with a status: past, happening now, next, or in the future.
None of this can be built without a birth time: in two hours the Ascendant shifts by a sign, and the nodes, Lilith, and Saturn move into different houses along with it. That is why there is no lighter version without a birth time.
How to read the report
The report reads best in order, but not in one sitting. Start with “Karmic task”: a single sentence about your direction of growth. Then “What pulls you back,” not as criticism but as a description of a habit. If you recognize yourself, the reading landed. If you don’t, don’t force it: what you need may be in another section.
- Look for recurring motifs. When Saturn, a node, and the 12th house all speak about the same thing, such as a habit of keeping everything under control, that stands out more than any single line.
- Ages are not event dates. Saturn returns (around ages 29–30 and 58–59) and node returns (around 18–19, 37, and 56) are moments to pause and rethink your direction. What actually happens in those years is up to you.
- Pick one practice. Out of four to six practices, it’s enough to try just one, the one that resonated. Each is tied to a point in your chart, so it’s easy to check whether it works for you.
- Come back in a month. You can ask the Oracle follow-up questions: what your next period means for you, how the node and Saturn in your chart connect.
The mean node is a smoothed position. If your birthday fell on a day when the node changed signs, the “true” node from another program may sit in the neighboring sign. More on this in the article about the lunar nodes.
A sample from the report
Your North Node in Libra sits in the 7th house: your direction of growth leads from “I’ve got this on my own” to “we.” Deciding fast without asking and carrying everything yourself is your default mode, and that independence really is a strength. But in close relationships and shared projects, it can easily turn into “I’ll manage without you” where you could ask for help and share the load.
Each time you choose dialogue over a solo dash, the node is “working”: people respond more warmly, and decisions turn out steadier. You don’t need to give up your decisiveness. Try adding one question before you act: “How do you see it?”

Questions about the report
Do I need my birth time for a karmic reading?
Yes. Without a birth time there is no Ascendant, no houses, and no 12th house, and without them you cannot tell which area of life the nodal axis falls in. That is why the report is built only from a chart with a known birth time. You can still find your North Node sign on the site from a date alone.
Is this about past lives?
No. We do not claim anything about past lives. “Karma” here is a symbolic language for recurring habits and growth tasks, and the text contains no curses and no debts you have to work off.
What is free?
The first section, “Karmic task,” opens for free, along with the chart wheel and the calculated points. The remaining sections open in the app, and with Premium at a discount. The PDF arrives in your chat and stays with you.
How is this different from the destiny matrix?
The destiny matrix is numerology based on your birth date. The karmic reading is astrology based on the position of the nodes, Saturn, and other points in a natal chart with houses. The two methods differ and don’t have to agree, and they are handy to read side by side.
Can I get a karmic reading for someone else?
Yes, for any saved chart with an exact birth time: a partner, a relative, a friend. The text is then written about the person in the third person, by name, rather than addressed to “you.”
